Thank You to FPL for taking the time to find ways to participate in our town hall on Hyperscale dATACENTERS. It was a pleasant conversation and the details follow in the audio below.

If you submit your questions concerning power usage, pollution, environmental impacts, health concerns, infrastructure FPL has agreed to answer those for us in writing to present on the 21st. *

CUT OFF FOR SUBMISSION IS 8A Tuesday the 10th for questions. We will read the questions and answers @ Town Hall, and hopefully we will have an FPL representative there to speak to them. Let’s go get to askin !

As an example:

Here are a couple I have off the bat.

1. Will the connection between the substation and the dATACENTERs be above ground or below? If above how high are towers and where will they be located?
2. What will the EMF impacts be for those in a proximal EMF Radiation exposure zone ? What standards (specific code please we can review) are you required to follow?
3. What enforceable measures are used to quantify the safety of the public in regards to high voltage transmission?
4. Given the explicit language to allow for a dATACENTER Campus on your recently annexed property, when is your time line for development?
5. Does FPL have any HyperdATACENTERS or other smaller ones?
