Clarification. The American Work Force is 161.9 million strong. The number of illegal aliens already here may number 11,000,000 to perhaps 20,000,000. BTW! When fossil fuel is one day abandoned to ‘save the Planet’, the electric car fantasy will next become impractical and masses of people will further be encouraged to stay home or take mass transit. Kiss the individual auto goodbye. Those selfish car owners!

America Re-Written? Try the World. Wake up! The World as we knew it pre-COVID Pandemic is gone. The altered reality touches every aspect of societal experience. One intriguing development is the sudden shortage of Labor. But is there genuinely a shortage of Labor? Let’s stick with the USA for now. Jobs currently go begging. This in a country where tens of thousands of illegal aliens have been breaching our frontier to presumably work. 161.9 million people or 61.7% of the American population. Yet jobs go unfilled.
Some blame the stimulus checks. Some blame people for getting comfortable staying home and getting by without work as usual. Some wonder if the missing workers have suddenly gone into small business ventures? Still others, a very few, ponder if this was part of the modern day Enclosure Act…..an attempt to artificially move vast numbers of people from one sector of society to a new one, the permanently jobless.

As we witness the social revolution in America, we hear people reference Saul Alinsky, Karl Marx and seldom a whif of Herbert Marcuse, the Father of CriticL Thinking. This German Jewish refugee to America was part of the Frankfurt School. A Neo-Marxist school devoted to Critical Thinking. Anti-Capitalist for certain. So what?
Marcuse the Marxist Political Philosopher, wrote his seminal work, ONE DIMENSIONAL MAN, in the 1950s. He postulated something that may strike you as disturbingly possible:
He maintained that because Capitalism was so productive, WORK AS WE KNOW IT, IS NO LONGER HISTORICALLY NECESSARY. With a Socialist order, the super productive technologies and infrastructure of Capitalism can now be harnessed to satisfy all human needs without work as we know it. So, we see in Iceland, they extol the positive results of their four year experiment with a true Four Day work week. Are Americans now being conditioned to permanently stay home, do nothing and allow Govt. to care for them by the rationed, distribution of goods and services?
MARCUSE ALSO SAID, FORGET THE WORKING CLASS AS THE AGENTS FOR SOCIAL REVOLUTION. NO. LOOK TO THE TECHNOCRATS, THE YOUTH, THE MINORITIES AND THE SOCIAL OUTCASTS.
So, you decide. Is this reversal part of a plan? If not, Marcuse would still cheer it on.
